Social Distancing Survival Hub

Along the lines of making the best of a tough situation, we’re pulling together resources to help you get through a work slowdown and the isolation of sheltering in place. Here are some resources to help you work on all the tasks you’ve been meaning to do, and some diversions to keep your creative juices flowing.

Is there a resource that we’ve missed? Or would you like to submit a contribution? Email us at comm-admin@graphicartistsguild.org.

We’ve also posted a page of information and federal and state resources around the coronavirus pandemic. Visit our Coronovirus Resources page.

Stay safe, stay strong, and stay in touch!

Stay in Touch

Networking and socializing don’t have to stop just because we’re working remotely. Meet with fellow business owners and freelancers, get tips on how to survive a work slowdown, share your creativity, or just enjoy knowing, although we’re separated right now, you’re part of a large, caring community. We presented Town Hall Webinars, and have posted the archive so that you can watch them at your leisure. Freelance Fandango has teamed up with us to take their weekly drawing and networking meet-up virtual.

Advocate for Support

State and federal agencies are working on financial relief for un- and under-employed people. It’s important that freelancers and small businesses don’t get overlooked in the process. So stay active – make sure your needs are heard.

Feed Your Creativity

Cultural institutions and entertainment industries have made their offerings virtually available – many for free. Give yourself a break, and check out a gallery, or treat yourself to a new movie release, without leaving home.

Share Your Art

Guild members have been sending us their artwork expressing their thoughts and concerns about the coronavirus crisis. Do you have something you would like to share? Send it over to us, and we’ll add it to our gallery.
