Being a Human Illustrator in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
The introduction of Artificial Intelligence into the creative design space has impacted all creators differently. Will speaks on his unique perspective about AI in his creative design space by stating:
“AI really has not impacted me or my work but remains a source for scrap and reference.”
Generating Unique Creative Concepts
Sometimes generating new concepts for design may be stressful for artists. Will discusses how he overcomes this sometimes daunting task by shifting his perspective in the beginning of a design:
“Generating concepts is the beginning of the fun! It is “seed planting” awaiting germination.”

Shifting to a positive perspective is a large aspect of Will’s process not only in the generation of ideas but also in where he draws inspiration from. Alongside this mentality, Will provides a fun quote to live by:
“Denial of ‘writers block’ has been my inspiration for more than 50 years!”
