FALL 2021 MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
BE A SMARTER, STRONGER, BETTER PROFESSIONAL

BE A stronger ARTIST.
Becoming a thriving professional takes a community. We need our peers — fellow artists who have our back and tell us like it is. There’s a lot of talent out there — you know who to follow and what inspiration guides you. But do you have a community of like-minded artists in your corner?

The Guild is your community. We’re artist-run and artist-led, and we’re committed to pulling each other up. We connect through virtual and regional get-togethers, and we reach out to each other for advice, referrals and encouragement. And at our Start Your Own Design Business conference this October, our community will come together to learn how all of us can thrive as professionals.
Guild members have each other’s back. We know that the success of any one of us helps all of us. Together, we’re building a community that works for all of us.

Join between September 14 and October 10, and get Guild swag!

We’ve got some special gifts for new members as a token of our appreciation! You’ll receive (2) Guild stickers, our Guild member logo pin, a journal, our new “oh crop” t-shirt, and a Michael Fleishman book of your choice (while supplies last).

Along with our cool swag, you’ll be entered into a weekly drawing for a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card.

You’ll also be entered into our membership drive drawings:

  • A 1-year Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, valued at over $600!
  • A 1-year subscription to KelbyOne Photoshop, Lightroom & Photography training, valued at $199
  • A $100 Amazon gift card

The drawings for these to be held on the last day of the drive, and we’ll notify the winners by email, and announce them on this page.

“I was honestly lost. I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t know what to say to people. I didn’t know how to approach them. I was absolute garbage. After I joined the Guild, I started connecting with people. I realized so much that I had to learn. The Guild gave me a better sense of direction and a better idea of what I need to be and what I need to do to become successful.”

— Kevin Baculi

“Learning how to price local brand packages and brand strategies according to proper market standards is my biggest professional win with the Guild.”

— Denise Coke

“Before the Guild, it was really just me working alone in my office. After joining the Guild I had a team of colleagues to bounce ideas off of. I had a larger network of colleagues to work with.”

— Haydn Adams

“It’s really upped my game in terms of professionalism.”

— Hoshi Hana

“I was constantly having to Google everything that I needed to know for pricing. So often the Guild publishes webinars that pop up and I think “I was totally going to be looking that up anyway. Cool. Now I could just go and learn that there.” If I can actually connect and talk to anyone who knows way more about this subject, then I do. The Guild makes that a lot easier.”

— Leanne Bowers

Why join the Graphic Artists Guild…
To grow and thrive as a professional.

Being a creative can be overwhelming, especially when you feel as though you’re a little fish in a big pond. The Graphic Artists Guild is your secret weapon, silently helping you navigate the waters to help you be the best you can be.

We’re not just the Handbook you’ve grown to love! We’re a dynamic, member-based professional design organization focusing on three pillars:

Advocacy — We’re Your Voice

The Guild advocates on Capitol Hill for creators on a wide range of legislative initiatives and internationally through partnerships with other global organizations.

Community — Find Your Crew
