Who Owns What AI Creates?

This webinar will do a deep dive into the two key copyright issues raised by using generative AI:

– If you use generative AI, are you infringing on anyone’s copyright?

– If you use generative AI, who owns the copyright to what’s created?

During the webinar, You’ll learn:

  • Who was Naruto and why can’t he own a copyright for his selfies?
  • What the Copyright Office said about the work “A Recent Entrance to Paradise.”
  • What the Copyright Office did about Kris Kashtanova’s graphic novel.
  • Is U.S. copyright law designed to protect original works written by divine beings?
  • What’s likely to happen to copyright law and the business model for copyrighted works in the future as a result of generative AI.
