Lara J. Kisielewska, former New York Chapter President of the Graphic Artists Guild and author of this popular white paper on building a design business, continues her webinar series. Part 2 covers how to meet and attract clients, and the essential paperwork you need to maintain a smooth working relationship:
Lara Kisielewska founded Optimum Design & Consulting in 1992 after completing a BS in Graphic Communications Management and Technology at New York University and working toward a masters’ degree in Magazine Publication Management from NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Lara co-founded Linux Magazine in 1999 and VoIP Magazine in 2004, and her communications experience in technology spurred Lara to start a second business, Xand Marketing, in 2005. Lara is a past President of the NY Chapter of the Graphic Artists Guild (2000–2004) and the NYC Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (2004–2005).
