More About This Webinar or Presenter

About Julie Sigwart:

Julie’s career spans a wide range of experience as both as an artist and in multiple roles in internet and software development startups. Early in her career, she worked for the Arizona Republic as an editorial artist. There, she was introduced to the early computer graphic design software.

Recognizing the opportunity of the emerging technologies of the Internet and computer graphics, Julie pivoted to work for Kai Krause’s software company, MetaCreations, as one of his first employees. During her employment, MetaCreations grew from a startup with five employees to a multinational company with $250 million in revenue. Julie’s duties ranged from graphic design, to technical support, and online community management.

Beginning in 2013, Julie began to focus on the new emerging technology of blockchain application development and in 2017 was hired as Community Director for LBRY Inc. She currently sits on the LBRY Foundation board and is launching an NFT company, Tokens For Good, combining art and philanthropy to promote social change.

 

About Jonathan Sirota:

Jonathan is a New York entertainment, business, and technology attorney. During his career, he has advised famous brands, government officials, and global corporations. Jonathan’s experience includes being a senior executive of the Hearst Corporation, where he provided legal counsel to its entertainment, technology, and media divisions, including Hearst Entertainment and King Features Syndicate. During his time at Hearst, Jonathan served as Director of Legal Affairs and Secretary of the Board at SmartMoney, which was a Hearst and Dow Jones joint venture focused on software, data licensing, media content, and publishing products for the financial sector. Prior to joining Hearst, Jonathan worked as a special advisor for the Japanese government at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology.

Jonathan’s film industry experience includes executive producing and providing production counsel services for feature films and independent filmmakers. Jonathan regularly represents clients in all areas of the entertainment and fine arts industries, including producers, actors, models, musicians, authors, sculptors, and artists. In addition to his law firm, Jonathan is the co-founder of business ventures in the entertainment, fashion, and investment/debit fund industries.
