O1B-Visa peer review letters for visual artists with extraordinary ability
Nonimmigrant visas are issued to foreign nationals seeking entry into the United States on a temporary basis for tourism, business, medical treatment and certain types of temporary work. The type of nonimmigrant visa needed is defined by immigration law, and related to the purpose of the travel.
Generally, an individual seeking to enter the United States to work may require certain authorization and documentation prior to applying for a nonimmigrant visa. A consultation letter from a U.S. peer group, labor organization, and/or management organization is generally required for petitions in the O1-Visa B1 classification.
The O1 nonimmigrant visa is for an individual who possesses extraordinary ability in the arts or who has a demonstrated record of extraordinary achievements and has been recognized nationally or internationally for those achievements. The Graphic Artists Guild offers peer review letters for individuals who meet this criteria.
