Veronica Eldredge, Artist

Veronica Eldredge (VME Art/e) is a mixed media visual artist and cultural worker grown in occupied Muwekma territories, aka San José, Ca, raised in a middle-class immigrant background, with orange, lemon, and apricot trees, and a belief in storytelling. Her work is shaped by the communities around her and has appeared in Salinas at the National Steinbeck Center and with the All Womxns Showcase in San José. She has been a regular collaborator with poets, artists, and writers in the CA Central Coast as well as Seattle, and is currently illustrating children’s books, including the forthcoming ¡Iván y van! A Bilingual Adventure and Anaranjado y Rojo: Un Poema Ilustrado / Orange and Red: An Illustrated Poem.

Veronica is also a writer and editor, including for the project "Valley of Heart's Resistance."
