Angel F. Matamoros, Principal Graphic Designer

Born in Heredia, Costa Rica and raised in Southern California, Fred received a bachelor of science degree in Graphic Design from Woodbury University in Los Angeles and completed media design studies at The Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg, Florida and the American Press Institute in Reston, Virginia.

Having won many awards for his commercial art, visual journalism and design, Fred also paints and exhibits in Washington, Oregon, California, Texas and Louisiana.

We ask you to remember that many designers, artists and illustrators may not want to have their images used in any way, including in agency presentations. Art or photography in portfolios submitted for a job should not be copied for any use, including client presentation or “comping,” without the creator’s permission. In case after case, the creator’s property rights have been upheld, and those caught engaging in these practices were penalized, paying large fines to the artists.
