Welcome to the New Website!

The top navigation buttons each have drop-down boxes with detailed content. This makes it easy for you to find what you’re looking for.

Advocacy

When you select Advocacy, you’ll see the issues the Guild is currently working on – as well as easy ways to take action. Click the Advocacy Timeline to view a comprehensive list of progress we’ve made for artists over the last fifty years.

Community

Select Community to learn about what’s happening in your region. Check out the Member Spotlight and the rotating roster featuring a different Guild member each month. See a list of Member Benefits.

Resources

Resources leads to an array of helpful tools for you to start, run, and grow your business. From white papers to the Graphic Artists Guild Handbook: Pricing and Ethical Guidelines (PEGs), from trending news to helpful hints, we are the best business partner you can have.

Member Central

Set up and edit your portfolio. Connect to other Guild members in the Member Directory.

Select Member Login to log in to Member Central. Your user name is your first initial and last name (i.e., jdoe for Jane Doe). Your password is your membership number. Don’t know your membership number? Email membership@graphicartistsguild.org and we’ll let you know. After you’ve logged in, you have the option of changing your password.

Your personal control panel gives you access to your member benefits: professional discounts, free webinars, digital contracts, and an expanded portfolio section. Click Manage Your Profile and Portfolio to set up or edit your profile or your portfolio.

Connect to Other Guild Members

In Member Central you have the option to connect with Guild members in the new Member Directory. On your profile page you can opt in to the Member Directory if you’d like others to be able to contact you. From here you can reach out to peers for advice, start networking groups, or discuss a pressing issue.

Find An Artist in the top navigation directs potential clients to your Guild portfolio. The Portfolio section features large member icons. We’ve added several ways for potential clients to find you: they can search by area of expertise or use the search tool to enter your name, location, or discipline (i.e., Illustrator).

Setting Up Your Portfolio

If you had a portfolio on the old site

You will need to log into Member Central and navigate to Manage Your Profile and Portfolio to verify and publish your portfolio to make it live (all of your images are already there, but you need to log in and elect to show them). From here you can also elect to be included in the brand new Member Directory.

If you are setting up your portfolio for the first time

Log in to Member Central. Navigate to Manage Your Profile and Portfolio. Fill in your information. Upload your avatar and up to two images for Associates and nine for Professional members.

Size the avatar: 300px x 300px. Max file size 2mb.

Size the portfolio pieces: 800px wide. Max file size 8mb each image.

Membership Levels

Lastly, we’ve made it easier for you and your friends to help improve the industry for all creatives by making it easier to join the Guild.

The Guild still offers four levels of membership: Professional, Associate, Student, and Lifetime for long-time members. You can learn more about becoming a member here.
