We’re committed to providing our community with resources and support to help us all get through this difficult time, safely and sanely. Below we’ve compiled a list of resources and information so that you can keep abreast of the latest news from one page.

Arkansas Economic Development Commission Bridge Loans: AEDC is redeploying funds used for job creation projects to instead support existing Arkansas businesses that are being hurt by the economic slowdown associated with the coronavirus outbreak. Learn more.

Arkansas Quick Action Loans: AEDC has established a loan program to provide assistance to businesses affected by the COVID19 outbreak. An allocation from the Attorney General will support small businesses. The program includes both loan guaranties and direct lending to businesses. Learn more.

San Francisco Hardship Emergency Loan Program: San Francisco based businesses impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic are encouraged to apply for 0% interest rate loans from Main Street Launch in partnership with the City of San Francisco. Learn more.

Sacramento Small Business Relief Loans: The City of Sacramento established a $1 million economic relief fund for businesses affected by COVID-19. Due to the overwhelming response, the City is no longer accepting new applications. If additional funding become available, the application portal will reopen. Register to receive updates.

Los Angeles City Small Business Emergency Microloan Program: The newly established program now provides financing needed to strengthen small business enterprises in this time of acute need that have been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. Learn more.

Napa Valley Emergency Financial Assistance (EFA) program: available for workers who live in Napa County, whose household income is at or below 120% of Area Median Income, and who do not qualify for government-sponsored unemployment or paid family leave benefits. Learn more.

Humboldt Health Foundation Angel Fund: provides small grants to meet immediate medical or health related needs of individuals who are residents of Humboldt County. Learn more.

San Francisco Arts & Artists Relief Fund: provides grants of up to $2,000 to individual artists. Applicants must be a resident of San Francisco and not currently be eligible for or receiving unemployment. Learn more.

Southern CA – COVID-19 Emergency Health Grant For Artists: Women’s Center for Creative Work is offering $1,000 grants to low-income artists who work in any genre or medium, who identify as a woman, as trans or nonbinary, and/or as a person of color, andwho live in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside or San Bernardino Counties. UNTITLED, ART Emergency Fund: offering grants of $250 to artists living and working in San Francisco for at least two years, or have graduated with a visual arts degree from the San Francisco Bay Area. Learn more.

Bay Area – Safety Fund Net: Grants of up to $500/month to help support artists in the Bay Area during the COVID-19 crisis. Artists – performing artists, musicians, visual artists, event producers, and other types of creators – who typically make their living offline at events & retail establishments that have been cancelled or closed due to coronavirus. Wherewithal Recovery Grants: $1,000 grants to professional visual artists, as well as moving-image/performance/sound artists with a history of presenting or performing in visual arts contexts (galleries, museums, etc.). The grants intended to help offset lost income from cancelled exhibitions, performances, or lectures, and from canceled or furloughed employment, that are the direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The State of Georgia has a new COVID-19 hotline. Unemployment

Employers are required to file employer filed (partial) claims onlineon behalf of their full and part-timeemployees whenever it is necessary to temporarily reduce work hours or there is no work available due to COVID-19. Read the Georgia Department of Labor fact sheet.

The Atlanta Artist Lost Gig Fund: Providing financial assistance to Atlanta area artists who have unmet essential needs due to lost revenue from cancelled upcoming events and gigs. This fund is open to arts workers of ANY discipline including visual artists. Apply here.

Chicago Small Business Resiliency Fund: Starting March 31, small businesses in Chicago can apply for low-interest loans of up to $50,000 with repayment terms of up to five years. The amount of the loan you’ll qualify for depends on your revenue before your business was affected by COVID-19. To qualify, you must demonstrate a 25% drop in revenue, have less than $3 million in revenue, employ less than 50 workers and have no current tax liens or legal judgments. Learn more.

Arts for Illinois Relief Fund (AIRF): a statewide effort that provides financial relief to artists and arts organizations with urgent need due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. $1,500 unrestricted, one-time grants will be issued to as many eligible artists as possible, given the total funding available. Cape Cod Arts Relief Fund: For all individual artists, musicians, actors, writers, or other creative professionals living in Barnstable County/Cape Cod. Phase 1 is focused on lost income for artists, and will award grants up to $500. Anything not used in Phase 1 will go towards Phase 2, which will focus on cultural nonprofits, and how AFCC can help them post-pandemic. Learn more.

Essex County Artist Fund: $400 grants for Essex County artists and creative producers who have experienced losses due to the COVID-19 crisis. Priority to lower-income artists. Saint Paul Bridge Fund: An emergency relief program for families with children and small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Flat-rate $1,000 grants to qualifying families and flat-rate $7,500 grants to qualifying small businesses, designed to complement other state and federal emergency relief programs and ‘bridge the gap’ between now and when those dollars are available. New York City – NELP COVID-19 Small Business Legal Clinic: The Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Project’s COVID-19 legal clinics are offering small businesses who have suffered from the impact of the COVID-19 crisis to receive free legal advice via a 45-minute remote consultation with a volunteer attorney. Potential clients must request an appointment in order to receive a phone-based or video-call consultation. Learn more and fill out the request form.

Coronavirus Financial Impact Loan Program (New York City, Westchester, Long Island): Interest-free loans of $2,000-$5,000 to residents of New York City’s five boroughs, Westchester, or Long Island who are facing financial challenges caused by the Coronavirus outbreak. These loans are intended to address lost wages due to being unable to go to work, child care costs due to school closures, small business losses, and related medical costs. Learn more.

Grants/Financial Assistance

NYC Employee Retention Grant Program to help small businesses retain employees while experiencing decreased revenue due to COVID-19. This program is available to New York City businesses with one to four employees that can demonstrate at least a 25% decrease in revenue as a result of COVID-19. Eligible businesses will receive a grant covering up to 40% of their payroll for two months. Create an account to apply.

NYC Department of Small Business Services: If you have one to four employees and can demonstrate a 25% decrease in revenue as a result of the  COVID-19 pandemic, you will receive a grant covering up to 40% of your employees’ salaries for two months. This is great news to alleviate your concerns about the economic impact on the well-being of your staff. Check here for the required documents to access funds.

NEIGHBOR-TO-NEIGHBOR (N2N) Grants for residents of Berkshire/Taconic area: one-time assistance for local residents who are in economic distress. Learn more.

Elmira Corning and the Fingerlakes Community Service Micro-grants: Up to $250 per individual is available for creative community service projects. These grants will be reimbursable and available until school returns to session. To request reimbursement for a community service project in response to COVID-19, complete the form by going here. Max’s Kansas City Project: Emergency funding and resources of up to $1,000 to professionals in the creative arts who live in New York state, and who demonstrate a financial need for medical aid, legal aid, or housing. Learn more.

New York City – Mayer Foundation: Economic relief grants to needy individuals who are distressed or suffering as a result of poverty, low income or lack of financial resources, including as a result of natural or civil disasters, or from temporary impoverishment, loss of employment, death or incapacity of a family wage earner or damage to home and property; to provide health care to those who cannot afford health care or whose health insurance or financial resources are insufficient to cover medical needs.
