04 Dec Deadlines for Healthcare Open Enrollment Fast Approaching
During a pandemic, it is especially critical that people are properly insured for healthcare. Depending on which state you reside in, the dealines to enroll expire in 2-5 weeks. However, Guild members can access good advice on their options and recommendations through LIG, at no cost. We strongly advise members to schedule an appointment with LIG even if they are happy with their current healthcare to investigate options in their area. LIG provides assistance on major medical, short term policies, Medicare, dental and vision, critical care, and supplemental policies. They will also work with members to see if they qualify for any savings, such as through subsidies.
Most states do not have their own health insurance state exchanges. Residents of those states use the federal exchange, Healthcare.gov, which has a deadline of December 15th. States which offer their own state exchange have varying deadlines.
