More About This Webinar or Presenter

About Our Presenter:

Digital art was always something Belinda Ivey dabbled in since grade school. It came in handy as she now co-owns KarBel Multimedia, a graphic design firm she founded with her husband Karsten in 2008, where their specialty is infographics. In her previous (work) life, Belinda was an award-winning visual journalist at a major newspaper in Fort Lauderdale (FL). Her journalism career has taken her to newsrooms in Los Angeles (CA), Phoenix (AZ), Baltimore (MD), and Philadelphia (PA).

While she’s taught web design, multimedia design, and infographics at the University of Miami (FL) since 2011, she is always a Florida Gator first. Belinda holds a Bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Florida, and a Masters in Fine Arts in Motion Media Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She has taught infographics in various workshops throughout the country and has her work profiled in several books. She lives in South Florida, with her husband and two children.
