More About This Webinar or Presenter

Ebook design means taking on a set of considerations that print (and web) designers don’t have to think about. We’ll look at how to adapt a print design, including:

  • How can design account for a wide variety of screen sizes?
  • How do color and black and white treatments exist in the same ebook?
  • Why add ornamentation to a simple print interior design?
  • Should fonts be embedded?
  • What role does accessibility play in planning ebook design?

We’ll examine examples of good ebook design, considering what should be standard across all books and where design choices can be made. Attendees will come away with a new way of looking at design for both print and digital use.
