About Lo
Lo Harris is an artist, illustrator, and creative advocate known for her bold, empowering work and her commitment to creative impact. With roots in journalism, Lo began her design career as a motion designer at The New York Times, and later NBC News, where she covered major news events including the 2020 presidential election. Her early newsroom experience sharpened her instincts for visual storytelling with purpose.
In 2021, her illustrations — rich with vibrant color, affirmation, and joyful representation — gained widespread recognition, leading to high-impact collaborations with brands and institutions such as Meta, Google, The Ellen Degeneres Show, the United Nations, and more. Most recently, Lo served as the first-ever Creative Lead at the Innocence Project, and as the co-director of the Cannes Can: Diversity Collective’s Ambassador Program.
Through it all, Lo’s creative practice remains rooted in one belief: that creativity and confidence are powerful tools for transformation — of individuals, communities, and the world. Her work stands at the intersection of art, equity, and action — and she’s committed to using her platform to advocate for the rights, dignity, and fair compensation of all creative professionals.
