Enrolling in Health Care: A Q&A for Freelancers

With the enrollment period for health insurance via the Affordable Care Act (ACA) shortened, and with the administration’s decision to stop paying federal subsidies to insurance companies, there is a lot of confusion on whether freelancers can enroll in health coverage through the federal exchanges. But the Affordable Care Act is still active, and freelancers without coverage should consider every option to get health insurance.
