About the Artist

As far back as I can remember, I was always drawing and creating, knowing I wanted to be a designer & illustrator when I grew up. The week after graduating college, I packed my car and moved to New York to start my career working at various major metro newspapers. I honed my skills on the editorial side of illustration and page design.

After a ten-year stretch in New York, my husband and I migrated to beautiful Seattle, Washington which has been our home ever since. I continued as a staff illustrator and designer at local area newspapers, but after the birth of our first child, I left the newspaper business and went the life of freelance and contract work. I spent over 12 years contracting for Microsoft both on campus and off, wearing a variety of hats, from an art director at MSN to a team designer for Microsoft.com. I have won numerous awards for my work, both locally and nationally.

My clients include: Microsoft, Amazon, PBS, Yahoo, Seattle P.I. Newspaper, LA Times Magazine, Swedish Medical Group, Seattle University, Drugstore.com, Beauty.com, IGT, Bank of Boston, McMurry Publishing, INC. Magazine, Fortune Magazine, Reform Judaism Magazine, CIO Magazine, The Education Resource Institute, Seattle’s Child Magazine, The Arizona Republic Newspaper, Interactive Week, Seattle Experience Music Project, Seattle Public Schools, Newsday, Gannett, Paccar, Coldwell Banker, Duke Communications, Brighams Ice-cream, Bear Creek Toys, Billy McHales, Access Internet Magazine and more.
