ABOUT THIS ARTIST

Michael Allan Galvez, Digital Marketing & Design Manager

Michael Allan Galvez is the Digital Marketing & Design Manager of Baruch-Frankel-Viertel Theatrical Management, overseeing creative projects for 54 Below and other projects on and off Broadway. Michael and his team have created showstopping creative assets for some of today’s cultural luminaries and hit shows, including Patti LuPone, Vanessa Williams, the 29-year Off Broadway hit "Stomp," a benefit performance of Broadway’s "Back To The Future The Musical," the trunk songs concert of the Tony Award®-winning orchestrators of "Some Like It Hot," and many others. His photos can be found on The Wall Street Journal, E! News, in The Smithsonian Institute archives, online theatre reviews and on magazine covers and newspapers along the eastern United States. He was part of the team that reopened Broadway in June 2021 and the team that received 54 Below’s 2022 Tony Awards® Honor for Excellence in the Theatre.

Always passionate about the intersection of science and human experience, Michael is a steadfast advocate of the use of emerging technologies—like XR—not only to improve accessibility in the theatre, but also to create new or unexplored works of art. His research has taken him to opportunities created by TEDxBroadway and to praise by 2015 PEN/Laura Pels award-winning playwright Jennifer Blackmer.

Outside of the theatre, Michael has been involved with several nonprofits and charities across the Philippines, United Kingdom, and United States—once becoming a member of a Capitol Hill delegation that lobbied Congress for the expansion of affordable housing programs during the second Obama administration.

Michael is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He is a proud member of The Royal Photographic Society and the Graphic Artists Guild.
