ABOUT THIS ARTIST

Michael Allan Galvez, Digital Marketing & Design Manager

Sir Michael Allan Galvez, KR, FRSA, is a photographer and digital media artist. He currently serves as the Digital Marketing and Design Manager of Baruch/Frankel/Viertel Theatrical Management, overseeing creative marketing projects for the Broadway Supper Club 54 Below, and others on and off Broadway. Together with his team, they have created show-stopping audio/visual content for some of today’s cultural luminaries (Patti LuPone, Vanessa Williams), rising stars, and hit shows (the 29-year Off Broadway smash Stomp). His photos can be found on publications (The Wall Street Journal, E! News) both online and in print across the United States, and in the archives of the Smithsonian Institution. He was part of Broadway’s reopening in June 2021 and part of the team that received 54 Below’s Tony Awards® Honor for Excellence in the Theatre the following year. He also runs a boutique portrait photography and visual media studio in New York. Outside of the arts, Sir Michael works with several charities in service of the unhoused and hungry—once becoming a member of a Capitol Hill delegation that lobbied US Congress for the expansion of affordable housing programs during the Obama administration. In varying degrees, he has contributed to the efforts of Feeding America and local homeless ministries. He received the 2012 Habitat for Humanity Building the Future Award on behalf of Southwest Volusia Youth United, where he served as president and founding member. In 2024, he was made Knight of the Order of the Knights of Rizal in a ceremony held at the Philippine Consulate General in New York City. Sir Michael is active in the Order’s civic, cultural, and diplomatic work. Sir Michael is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (UK) and co-lead of its Responsible Artificial Intelligence Network. He is the associate East Region representative of the Graphic Artists Guild (USA) and a proud member of The Royal Photographic Society (UK).
