Melanie Aleman, Owner, CEO and Executive Creative Designer

Author, Illustrator, Owner, CEO, and Executive Creative Designer of MMA Illustrations.
Melanie attended the Academy of Art University San Francisco for her B.A. in Illustration and Multi-Media Design. Determined to show the world her talents in the competitive industry, she created her own path and became an author and illustrator for children's books. She even created her own book, Adventures of Flash and Fidget and the Mysterious Slime App. Captivating the masses with her creations, requests for her unique custom designs became highly in demand. Discovering the needs for her services, she became familiar with the trade and decided to go into business for herself. This is when MMA Illustrations was born.

  • Any unauthorized downloading or duplication of images is prohibited by copyright law.
  • Use of the images, including comp usage, must be negotiated with the creator of the image prior to any use.

We ask you to remember that many designers, artists and illustrators may not want to have their images used in any way, including in agency presentations. Any use, including “comping,” implies value that is worth compensation. Art or photography in portfolios submitted for a job should not be copied for any use, including client presentation or “comping,” without the creator’s permission. In case after case, the creator’s property rights have been upheld, and those caught engaging in these practices were penalized, paying large fines to the artists.
