The Primer Series

Pricing & Ethical Guidelines Goes Digital

Same Content, New Name, New Format

Business Practice Essentials for Graphic ArtistsProfessional Issues & Legal Rights for Graphic ArtistsTrade Customs & Pricing Guidelines for Graphic Artists

The Graphic Artists Guild Handbook: Pricing & Ethical Guidelines (PEGs) is now available in digital form with a new title, THE PRIMER SERIES.

The title is not the only thing that’s changed—instead of one large book, all the content of the 14th Edition has been reformatted into three smaller e-books: Business Practice Essentials for Graphic Artists, Professional Issues & Legal Rights for Graphic Artists, and Trade Customs & Pricing Guidelines for Graphic Artists. The move to three volumes recognizes that PEGs has a variety of users within the industry (students, the self-employed, staff artists, new and established business owners, reps, clients, etc.) representing various disciplines, and that the need for certain types of information changes throughout one’s career. The new format gives users the flexibility of purchasing only the information they need.

The Guild will continue to publish a print version, as well as the digital version, but in the future, both will be produced as three volumes under THE PRIMER SERIES banner.
