Learn About The Midwestern Region

Image of Midwestern Region of the Guild - MapThe Midwestern Region of the Graphic Artists Guild provides an ever-expanding range of resources and opportunities for Guild members in Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Ohio whose backgrounds span various artistic disciplines and skill levels. We are here to provide a voice for students, associates and professional artists so we can improve our profession together.

When becoming a member of the Graphic Artists Guild you will also become affiliated with one of five Guild Regions.

Once a member you will receive mailings and communications from the National office including your copy of Graphic Artists Guild Handbook: Pricing and Ethical Guidelines, our quarterly print newsletter titled Guild News, a monthly email which is a digest of articles and interviews from our blog, and updates about member benefits including webinar registration deadlines.

Your Regional communications will keep you posted about local events to benefit your communication design career including lectures, skills training and networking events.

The Midwestern Region of the Graphic Artists Guild has a new Regional Representative.

The Guild has made Ohio part of the Midwestern Region. Brandon Kovach, has moved with the boundries.

Brandon started his education at the University of Akron's world-renowned Ray C. Bliss Institute, studying both Political Science and Criminal Justice with a minor in Computer Security Administration. He proceeded to study a graduate certificate in coding through Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He continues his education studying finance with an area of interest in Business Economics through Harvard. 

In 2016, Brandon was invited to join the prestigious Forbes' affiliated Young Entrepreneurs Council, an invite-only organization comprised of the world's most promising young entrepreneurs. His largest company, Accelerated Social, has been hailed as “revolutionary to social media advertising” by the Huffington Post.

The New England Region Includes; Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New Hampshire.

Eastern

The Eastern Region Includes; New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina
